At The Old School we try to use locally sourced seasonal produce whenever possible. We have a great working relationship with our local butcher and baker (still looking for a candlestick maker!).
Pathhead Bakeries, situated in New Cumnock, supply us with our tasty fresh bread.
Gregor Armour butchers from Auchinleck supply us with beautiful Scottish fillet steak, bacon, sausage, haggis and black pudding.
Pieronis of Ayr supply us with lovely fresh Scottish salmon.
Our eggs are supplied by our own free-range chickens and geese which you can see roaming in the grounds.
Many of our jams are home made by Liz from fruit grown in our grounds or by our neighbours.
We are happy to supply an evening meal during your stay and can cater for all dietary requirements. Meals need to be ordered at least 24 hours prior to your arrival to ensure we have fresh provisions. This service is not available during July and August. Please contact us direct for menu options.
